Victory Services Club

The Victory Services Club (VSC) is a prestigious Private Members Club for retired and serving members of the Armed Forces, located at Marble Arch in the heart of London's West End, We have built our business on customer retention and a quality service. VSC decided, as part of their refurbishment program, they would look to replace thiercurrent VOD system which was too complicated for the guests and thus was not delivering the expected revenues. VSC turned to Gill Russell, Sales Manager for Forbes Hotel to project manage and advise on a simple in-room solution that would deliver results. Gill, who has the knowledge and experience of many challenging Hotel projects, advised on upgrading the current coaxial network and installing Hotel featured Freeview LCD televisions that would deliver 65 Freeview TV and 24 radio channels, all on wall mounted brackets. VSC agreed with Gill's recommendation and Forbes was set the challenge of surveying all the rooms, de-installing the current analogue televisions, mounting new brackets, installing and commissioning the Hotel featured 22" Toshiba LD TVs. Gill and the Forbes team worked closely with the on-site contractors to deliver a simple and easy to use system that has been well received by the guest of the VSC. Forbes are very proud and delighted to be chosen once again to be the main supplier of rental televisions for VSC.

The Holiday Inn Express Nuneaton

The newly rebranded Holiday Inn Express Nuneaton owned by TawneywoodHotels located in the Bermuda park complex off the M6 wanted to updated their current analogue LCD televisions to the latest Hotel featured Toshiba 22" LCD televisions for the guest bedrooms and Panasonic 50" for Lobby areas. Forbes Hotel Tv was set the challenge of de-installing the 101 existing televisions and fitting new wall brackets and mounting the new Televisions while the hotel was still operational. To complete the rebranding exercise for The Holiday Inn Express we installed the latest digital info TV hotel information channel, this will keep guest updated with the latest hotel offers, as well as the latest weather, news and traffic information.

Hotel Verta

Forbes Hotel TV are chosen as premier hotel TV supplier for the new Hotel Verta, London

Forbes Hotel TV are delighted to once again be involved in one of Von Essen Hotels' projects. The luxury hotel brand opened Hotel Vertain London's vertical gateway on the River Thames in September 2010.This opulent and unique hotel is sited at The London Heliport, with a design inspired by the golden age of air travel.We are excited to have been chosen as the television supplier for such a prestigious London landmark. The Forbes Hotel team, represented by Gill Russell, worked closely during 2009 and 2010 with the Von Essen team to ensure that our recommendation of televisions and in room brackets matched the brand and design of the hotel's luxury guest bedrooms and conference rooms. For the seventy guest bedrooms we installed the Philips 42HFL5880D.This top of the range, Full HD 1080P, offers full Hotel features with volume limitation, menu locking, Vsecureand Vtrackfor HD content security and smart power for energy saving.The Televisions were mounted by our installations teams, using the full pull out and swivel brackets by Alphason. In the seven conference areas, Samsung 65" Full HD televisions were chosen for their design, and size match to the panel requirements. Forbes Hotel TV will be providing the Hotel Vertawith full on site service back up and, as one would expect of a premier London Hotel, same day service.

The Scarlet Hotel

The Scarlet hotel is a beautifully built 37 Bedroom hotel overlooking the idyllic Cornish Coast at Mawgan Porth near Newquay. This Hotel was built to the highest Eco standards. The Hotel wants to reflect and embrace its unique location, blurring the boundaries between indoors and out. The hotel is a balance of light, airy spaces with cosy, private areas, allowing you to mix with our other guests or enjoy a bit of peace and solitude. Forbes Hotel TV brief was to supply and install over 30 Toshiba Televisions with integrated DVD’s on a rental contract.

Lansdowne Place Hotel

Situated adjacent to the Brighton waterfront, Lansdowne Place Hotel has recently undergone a major refurbishment to restore its past glory, whilst creating a stylish, contemporary feel. The Hotel commissioned Forbes Hotel TV to upgrade their non digital LCD to a new built-in digital LCD system. The Hotel wanted to improve the services to customers and keep pace with the latest technology. The Hotel also received the Forbes Hotel remotes with lockable battery casing. There was a total of 82 Sanyo televisions fitted while the hotel was open to customers. Forbes Hotel TV fitted the system in a matter of days with minimum disruption to the running of the hotel.

The Star Alfriston

The Star At Alfriston was originally built during the 13th Century during which time it has seen many changes. Today its offers its guest excellent service with a traditional hospitality. This hotel has well –appointed guest accommodation with modern comforts in one the the south's idyllic and beautiful villages only 5 minutes from the sea. The Star Inn have taken out a 5 year rental contract for 37 x 22inch Toshiba LCD Television all which have a built in DVD player. The Star also received a 40 inch LCD Television for the bar area which was mounted on the wall. The new televisions will receive a satellite and analogue signal. The digital signal will not start in this regional until 2012 therefore a satellite fed allows high definition HD picture quality in this remote rural location.

The Redcliffe Hotel

The Redcliffe boasts a 400 metre water frontage, at sea level, in the very centre of the outstandingly beautiful Torbay, otherwise known as The English Riviera. Privately owned and managed by the Twigger family since 1979, the Redcliffe does, however, now offer every modern facility to ensure an enjoyable stay, whether for business or pleasure, short break or family summer holiday. In May 2010 Forbes hotel TV was asked to install over 60 Toshiba televisions of various sizes on a rental contract. This 3 star hotel now has the latest LCD digital televisions, all the televisions were configured with full hotel functionality and has been able to maximize the new digital signals with the evolution of the digital switch over.
